Edward Furey is registered with the U.S. Government as a provider of Accessible Website Design Services.
We offer accessible website designs that follow the guidelines established by the World Wide Web Consortium's (W3C's) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines [WCAG] and/or The Access Board, of the United States Government, Section 508 §1194.22 for web-based information and applications.
Website development for accessibility considers designs for a wide range of users, some of whom may be operating in contexts that put them at a disadvantage. The W3C has been the leader in setting standards for accessibility and the United States Government has established its own guidelines for federal agencies to follow in Section 508 §1194.22 of the Rehabilitation Act.
If you own or manage websites you should consider accessibility as a critical design element.
