Gemini Signs of Marlborough, MA had been in business for 25 years when they began selling products online. Gemini needed the ability to show their customers not only options in letter fonts and colors, but also size, mounting options and finish styles.

We built an interface for Gemini's letter database, providing customers the ability to progressively select letter options within the ordering process. Gemini's website now provides their customers the ability to determine what they need, place orders with a secure shopping cart system, and specify shipping and payment information. Their new website has simplified order processing for inside operations and the increased functionality of their online calculators has increased sales.

The calculators were developed and implemented by Southborough Website Design using PHP-driven database application. Because of the success of this site they have contracted us to build a similar site for another product line. In-progress.

Red Barn Coffee Roasters is well-known in the greater Boston area. In their stores they sell their roasted coffee beans, brewed coffee and baked goods. Their Southborough location includes a cafe where they serve lunch and provide local catering and delivery, and their roastery in Upton doubles as a distribution center. Many independent local cafes and restaurants serve Red Barn Coffee, and non-locals are quickly becoming loyal fans of Red Barn.

In 2006, Red Barn's owners made the jump to selling their coffees online. We upgraded the design and code and developed a website for Red Barn to showcase and provide information about their products, and to enable order placement and shipment for over 20 of their coffee bean varieties.

Simplicity of the order fulfillment process was key for Red Barn Coffee, and their design solutions reflect a seamless ordering, fulfillment, and shipment process. We worked with their shipping department to assure the website orders integrated with their current processes.

SongsFor.com was designed to advertise, promote and distribute online educational products developed by a local music teacher. We aligned the user interface and navigational hierarchy of the site to the web-surfing habits of teachers, parents and children. We also provided MP3 download capabilities, an online store, search engine optimization and newsletter distribution for members of the site. Southborough Website Design additionally produced the CDs currently sold on the SongsFor website.

The site is built for an expansion of similar products that SongsFor Inc. have in development including CDs in other subjects and sheet music downloads.

Southborough Website Design upgraded an existing site showcasing the jewelry designs of a local veteran beader. SarahDipiti.com now provides visitors with the capability to order bead jewelry online, and to specify sizing, bead color, charms, and personalization. In addition to the shopping cart, newsletter sign-up feature, and online contact information form, Southborough Website Design provided a complete search engine optimization strategy for the site. Further, we have consulted with our client to support a Google pay-per-click advertising campaign.

This site serves as a shopping portal to major online retailers. Its functionality allows shoppers to specify a local, non-profit organization to receive a percentage of online sales as a rebate to their cause. Currently, Shop4MyCommunity includes organizations in all 351 Massachusetts towns and cities, and is expanding to include New Hampshire, Florida, California and other states.

Southborough Website Design developed and implemented the user interfaces for the site, enabling users to progressively select towns and the charitable organization for which their online purchase would provide a rebate. We have also built a custom administration area, allowing owners of the site to add new states, towns, and organizations to their existing databases.

Our client needed to upgrade an existing site that was in a long-term holding pattern. Our redesign features a well-constructed navigational layout, an appointment request form and calendar, and links to car detailing and accessories vendors contracted by Express Car Detailing. Southborough Website Design also recreated all graphics to a better visual quality. On-going projects include expansion of the content for specific accessories and services which will also expand the range of search engine visibility.

Gemini Signs .com is the original corporate website for Gemini Sign Company, Inc. Southborough Website Design was contracted to update and redevelop this site to showcase all of the products and services provided by Gemini. They wanted a home page with a visual indexing style that would allow users and inside sales to easily find products. Most products are supported with photo samples that they currently direct their new customers to.

This was a new business venture for our client to provide radio repair services for premium car stereo equipment. We did so well at bringing this site top listings in major search engines and driving traffic to the site through organic SEO that our client hired us to redesign and relocate hosting of their primary radio repair website, VideoServiceStop.com.

His potential customers are now able to find his websites easily by searching on a few highly-competitive search phrases for specific car makes and models.

This was the second site we completed for our client. See Factory Car Radios Direct above. Our success with the first project led our client to enlist our services for this site, removing it from a national, well known, service provider.

Through redesign we kept the original look and feel but upgraded and optimized the code. Our client now has a more efficient, fast loading website. Our redesign and search engine optimization has yielded higher search engine listings and more click throughs to the site. With our guidance, our client now has more efficient, and economical, balance of organic search engine optimization and pay-per-click advertising.

Our client was having problems with their site when they contracted us for services. The original site code was outdated, did not follow standards, incorrectly utilized frames and had a Flash intro that obscured their main message from search engines. When someone could find them in search engines the poor implementation of frames kept users from properly navigating the rest of the site and their products.

We kept the exact same look and feel of the original design and rebuilt the code from the ground up. We replaced image navigation with lighter weight CSS functionality and added a flexible more accessible design.

Our client is now getting more traffic and more functional use of their website to support business and marketing objectives. Features include protected folders and files containing white papers and informational resources for their customers.

A brochure-type website for a local financial planning advisor. Our client came to us for a code upgrade and a slight redesign. She had done a great job building the original website but knew it needed a professional touch.

Southborough Website Design redesigned the site to fit closer with our clients logo and company colors. We also removed a large number of unnecessary graphics, upgraded the code and performed search engine optimization for key terms related to financial services. Within 2 months of redesign, search engine rankings had increased for many of those terms.

Owner and Proprietor Bob Bartolini wanted to establish a new web presence for his Metrowest-based restaurant The Catch 22. Southborough Website Design photographed the dining room, lounge, and exterior of the restaurant, wrote copy for the homepage, and designed graphics to accompany content on the site. In addition to the menus and restaurant function information, we designed a calendar function for Bob to publicize restaurant events and live entertainment acts appearing in his restaurant's lounge.

An entirely educational site, Make It Solar offers ideas and assistance for solar energy science fair projects. It provides students with an overview of the scientific method, layouts of science fair display boards, and walk-throughs of actual solar energy experiments. A list of recommended books and links to purchase these books via Amazon.com is also included.

Make It Solar has won an Edunet Connect Choice award. It is also linked to from high profile energy and education organizations such as http://www.ipl.org/ and http://www.energyquest.ca.gov/. Many teachers also link to this site as a resource for their students. Current site traffic for Make It Solar averages 15,000-20,000 unique visitors per month.

This site was created to showcase our custom-built calculator applications. It includes calculators to find solutions for geometry, algebra, financial, and basic math problems given a set of known variables. Traffic to Free Online Calculator started fairly high and has increased over 300% over the last 9 months for the keywords we have been targeting.

This site is the result of a comprehensive redesign of Ashland, Massachusetts' existing parent teacher organization (PTO) website. Notable features include a reworking of information layout and navigational hierarchy, an editable calendar of events, interconnectivity to the Ashland Schools' website, and online forms and membership payment capabilities.

A unique part of this PTO website includes a Teacher Wish List and associated database. This feature provides Ashland's school teachers and personnel to list items that are outside the realities of the public school budget, yet would enhance the students' classroom learning experiences. The Wish List also enables community members to match their donatable items with teachers and staff who could use theses items.

The Teacher Wish List currently includes over 300 teacher/ members and over 600 items. It was designed and programmed to be entirely self-maintained, with password reminder capabilities, user editability, and provides direct contact information for teachers, parents, and interested community members.

This website highlights the local education and scholarship funding efforts of the Ashland Education Foundation. It lists community and corporate supporters, the Board of Directors, and provides online donation forms and archived newspaper articles documenting the Foundation's local support of education.
